Description
The refurbishment of a cottage which had originally been a chapel and more recently two flats into a 4 bedroom luxury holiday cottage in the populat village of the Mumbles, near Swansea, with the Gower on its doorsteps.
With fantastic views across Swansea Bay at first floor level the challenge was to make these available to all of the visitors without having to pass through someones bedroom. A spiral stairs was positioned in the family room space which access only a first floor terrace- creating a space ideal for sipping the gin and tonic on.
This unique property has proved a hit with holiday makers and has a 75% occupancy which is amazing for a coastal holiday let showing how design can result in added value not only in terms of rental income but the overall property value too.
